Comments Said Not to Save My Toxic Childhood Sweetheart, I Chose Cambridge Chapter 07

Three days later, the official SAT testing window closed for the year.

Our class’s private Discord Server blew up with nonstop messages after days of silence.

Every conversation revolved around failed exam scores and plans to take a gap year for SAT retakes.

Mid-thread, someone shared a live stream link.

I clicked into the broadcast, and Seraphina’s tear-streaked face filled the screen.

“I only wanted to create sweet lasting memories for my classmates,” she sniffled, voice trembling with manufactured heartbreak. “But Elowen twisted everything I did to make me look like the villain.”

She paused, letting fake tears stream down her cheeks.

“I know I shouldn’t have pulled that Truth or Dare stunt on exam day, I just wanted to ease everyone’s stress. I never imagined it would spiral this far, and Elowen shifted all of the blame entirely onto me alone.”

Her tone softened to a fragile whisper, like she struggled to catch her breath.

The live chat flooded with rapid messages.

[Isn’t this the girl who hid everyone’s SAT tickets?]

[How does she have the nerve to stream and complain publicly?]

[Can someone recap the full story for anyone new tuning in?]

[Heard her family tried to pay off officials to drop the charges, but it didn’t work out.]

[She deserves every bit of this backlash.]

A small handful of viewers defended her.

[Cut her some slack, she’s clearly devastated.]

[The whole class joined the game, why’s only she taking punishment?]

[Who’s this Elowen everyone’s talking about? Never heard her name before.]

Seraphina wiped her eyes, lifting her head to reveal red, puffy eyelids. Every frame of her crying looked perfectly staged and polished.

“I’m just a regular teen dealing with immense academic pressure too. Now the College Board voided all my SAT test scores, and I face a 3-year SAT registration suspension. Random strangers flood my stream with toxic hate comments 24/7. Meanwhile Elowen already locked in her

Haverthorp Institute acceptance letter-she never cared about the exam at all. She just used this whole mess to take out everyone she didn’t like”

She hesitated for dramatic effect, biting her lower lip like she fought to hold back more tears.

“She took advantage of this whole situation to destroy everyone who stood in her way.”

The live chat exploded with outrage.

[Wow, that’s brutal manipulation.]

[Who’s Elowen? Drop her full name so we can look her up.]

[Wait a second-so Elowen masterminded all of this chaos?]

[I knew there was a hidden agenda behind everything.]

[Elowen, Top Honors Cohort Prefect. Rumor says she had a Haverthorp offer locked down months ago.]

Jasper’s account posted a comment front and center of the feed.

[Everything she’s saying is 100% true. I watched Elowen stir up drama nonstop, forcing Seraphina to beg for forgiveness. She even hinted I should tear up her own SAT ticket to frame Seraphina.]

My fingers tightened around my phone screen as I read his blatant lies.

“Forced her to beg for forgiveness?” “Told me to rip her ticket?”

He made up every single detail out of thin air.

The live chat flooded faster by the second. Hundreds of viewers typed angry messages targeting me, others spammed Seraphina’s username demanding I go live to apologize.

Seraphina kept crying into the camera, her sobs perfectly timed and dramatic. Her waterproof lash mascara didn’t smudge once despite her nonstop fake tears.

“I know I share part of the blame,” she hiccuped into the lens. “But why am I the only one facing punishment? Every single student participated in that game-why does all the public hate land only on me?”

She stared straight into the camera, voice shaking.

“Elowen, if you’re watching this stream right now, I have one simple question for you. Do you truly believe none of this mess is your fault at all?”

The live chat erupted again.

(Don’t cry, Seraphina-we’re on your side.]

[Elowen needs to go live and apologize immediately!]

[Is a Haverthorp acceptance letter really that big of a privilege?]

[Seraphina’s banned from testing for three full years while Elowen’s escaping all consequences scot-free.]

[Elowen, dare you face us live and explain yourself?]

I leaned back against my bedroom chair, scrolling through the blow up of live chat comments.

A new notification popped up in our class Discord Server from Wren Finch.

[Are all of you just going to sit here and let Seraphina spread these complete lies?]
