One Year Dead, I Decide to Visit My Boyfriend in a Dream Chatper 02

Ryan slept very little. I played cards with the Dream Keeper for hours before he finally fell asleep.

I checked the clock on the wall. three in the morning.

“You go to bed way too late.”

Ryan seemed to be still in the company. The shirt on his body was slightly wrinkled, and his pale cheeks were slightly red.

It seemed that he had just come back from socialising, and he was nestled on the sofa in the office.

I walked over and sniffed. “Have you been drinking?”

He stared blankly at me for a few seconds, realized who I was, then slowly looked away and made another sound of acknowledgment.

Anyway, I had plenty of time, so I just sat down cross-legged.

“You have to take care of yourself. You stay up late and drink alcohol at a young age. Do you know how long I waited there before you finally fell asleep?”

I even lost 100 Heaven Coins to the Dream Keeper because of it.

Ryan sneered. “So you do care whether I live or die. You haven’t come to see me once in a year.”

“Of course I care! It’s just… I didn’t have a chance before. But I’m here now!”

I forced a smile, secretly thinking. if Ryan really died, I’d have no supplier left.

I scratched my head and decided to get to the point. “Um… I got the stuff you sent me last time.”

Ryan lifted his eyes, waiting for me to continue.

I swallowed hard. “So… could you… send me some more?”

At that, Ryan smiled.

He smiled so wide that his little hidden canine tooth showed.

“Chloe Carter,” he said, “did you get yourself a ghost boyfriend behind my back?”

I shook my head so hard I looked like a rattle. “Absolutely not! I just… like to use them myself…”

“You love playing with these things so much,” he said. “Why didn’t you ever want to try them with me when you were alive?”

Why didn’t you try with me…

Try with me…

A string of blushing, heart-pounding images flashed through my mind. I blushed furiously and fled the dream.

When I came back, the Dream Keeper was slouched back, playing Tetris.

That old handheld game console was sent to him by his son the previous year.

He carried it everywhere, treasuring it deeply.

Seeing me come out, he stuffed the console into his pocket. “You still had 20 minutes left. Why did you come out early?”

I thought of Ryan’s words again and patted my cheeks, which had no feeling at all. “Just save the 20 minutes. I’ll use them next time.”

With that, I ran off without waiting for the Dream Keeper to reply.

This negotiation was a total failure.

I failed to trick Ryan into sending more supplies.

Ghost customers came to my shop every day begging for restocks, driving me crazy.

Just as I was looking for other channels, the Heaven Post Office contacted me, saying I had a package from the living world.

The character “Ryan” on the box glowed like gold. My heart skipped a beat. I opened it and found it full of everything I needed—even more varieties than last time.

There were many types I’d never even seen before.

Was Ryan my genie?

I couldn’t wait to take them all out and display them on the shelves. Then I noticed a card tucked at the bottom.

It was written by Ryan in black pen.

His handwriting was strong and powerful.

“Next time you ask for more items, you must read me a personal experience report for each one. No less than 800 words per item.”

A user experience report?

And no less than 800 words?

I counted the number of products Ryan had sent.

It was basically the length of a full-length novel.

How had I never known Ryan had this kind of hobby!
