Chapter 13
One Year Dead, I Decide to Visit My Boyfriend in a Dream Chatper 13
Ryan’s health had been ruined in the two years after I died.
After I became human again, it took me a year to slowly nurse him back to health.
But during that time, I also realized that Ryan wasn’t as poor as he pretended.
“What are you planning to buy?”
“A wedding house.”
“Are you crazy?!” I frowned. “We don’t have money for a wedding house!”
Ryan hadn’t worked for a long time due to health reasons.
Mason’s son also had to continue his studies. We might even have our own baby in the future.
Buying a house now—he might as well sell his kidneys.
“A year ago, when I sold the house, I took part of the money and made an investment.”
“What investment?”
“Do you remember in my letter to you, I said I kept ordering from an online store and added the owner’s contact information?”
I nodded.
“Later, their business was in trouble. I bought a stake and took over the company. At the time, I thought since you ordered so much, I could get cheaper goods.”
I opened my mouth, unable to speak.
“Then what?”
“Then I improved and adjusted the products according to the user research feedback you gave me, and changed the marketing model. Now the company is back on its feet and profitable.”
I held it in for a long time before saying. “That’s… great.”
“So to keep our family’s income steady… your job can’t stop.”
I suddenly had a bad feeling. “What job?”
He put his lips to my ear. “Product testing, Mrs. Moore.”
I thought of the stack of reviews thicker than a dictionary.
Was it too late to go back to being dead?
