99 Pictures of My Sister and My Fiancé Chapter 03
I called my landlord and told him I was moving out today.
He paused. “You sure? You’ve been here over four years.”
Four years.
When Logan and I first started dating, he wanted me to move in with him.
Sierra said it was bad luck to live together before marriage. I figured I should keep my own space too.
So I rented a place near his office so I could see him more.
He agreed. He stayed over once in a while.
This apartment held the evidence of us loving each other, fighting, being silent, and too many times of him leaving in a hurry.
“Yeah, moving today,” I said.
He sighed and told me to leave the keys in the mailbox.
Not long after I hung up, the door pushed open from the outside.
Logan and Sierra walked in together, one after the other.
Sierra turned back and smiled at him. “Remember? You promised me the room with the bay window in your guys’ house. But I want pink curtains!”
I was standing in the middle of the living room. I thought I’d heard wrong.
She said it so naturally—like moving into the same house, sharing the same marital home, was just common sense.
Logan didn’t argue. He smiled indulgently. “As long as your sister’s okay with it.”
“She spoils me. Why would she have a problem with it?”
I stood there. Then something in my throat loosened.
“What if I said I’m not okay with it?”
